This page explains how to figure out which county applies and where to go for each one.
Bothell Overview
Bothell Property Tax Records Across Two Counties
Each county has a different total tax rate made up of many taxing entities. The City of Bothell's portion is the same in both counties, and it makes up only a small part of the overall bill. Other taxing entities on a Bothell tax bill include each county, the state, and local school districts. Depending on which side of the county line your property sits, you may have different school district levies and EMS levy rates on your bill.
Bothell currently maintains four city-specific levies that apply to all Bothell properties regardless of county. These include the regular City of Bothell levy, the voter-approved Safe Streets and Sidewalks Levy, the Public Safety Levy, and the GO Bond Levy for fire station construction. The first three voter-approved levies pay into restricted funds dedicated to their specific purposes. Taxpayers in each county also pay an EMS levy, though the EMS levy rate varies between King and Snohomish counties.
More details about the Bothell city levy structure are available on the city's Property Tax page at bothellwa.gov. That page explains how the city portion of your bill is calculated and what each levy funds.
